Export a webpage to Markdown
Select content, preserve headings, lists, links and code, then copy or download Markdown.
Choose the right scope#
Element selection suits an article or paragraph. Region selection suits part of the current viewport. Full-page Markdown exports the currently loaded document without screenshot scrolling or automatically loading infinite-scroll content.
Copy or download#
- Open the extension on an ordinary webpage and select element or region mode.
- Click an element or draw a region in the current viewport.
- Choose Copy Markdown or Download Markdown in the toolbar.
- Check headings, tables, links and image URLs in your editor.
Use full-page MD when you do not need a selection. Press Esc to cancel selection.
Structure and images#
Headings, paragraphs, emphasis, links, lists, tables, quotes and code blocks are supported. Images become links; OCR is not included. Markdown is not a replica of the original styling. Choose PNG when appearance matters.
Region Markdown filters content using visible text geometry. Check selection boundaries on complex pages.
Review the result#
Check completeness, link availability and table rendering in the target editor. Keep the original source attribution. Before sharing, confirm your usage rights and remove private information you do not want to disclose.
