Install SuperContentExport from the Chrome Web Store, or download the v0.1.2 ZIP and load it in developer mode.

Install from the Chrome Web Store#

Open the official listing, review the permission prompt and add the extension to Chrome. Pin its icon from the extensions menu to get started.

For developer-mode installation, download and extract the versioned ZIP. Keep the extracted folder in place.

Build the extension#

This path requires a working Node.js environment. In the source directory, run:

npm install
npm run build:plain

The build creates a loadable dist/ folder. Keep generated signing keys private; do not upload or share them.

Load it in Chrome#

  1. Open chrome://extensions/.
  2. Enable Developer mode.
  3. Select Load unpacked and choose the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
  4. Open an ordinary webpage and test Select element on a small sample.

ZIP loading uses developer mode. For everyday installation, use the official store listing above.

Before you start#

Personal and non-commercial use is free. Commercial use requires written authorization. Keep the tab in the foreground during long-page PNG capture and check a small export first.
